Ritual Adornments is transformational jewelry that acts as a living prayer. Every piece is created with a specific intention to help you embody & activate what you’re calling in.
In 2021, one of the founders, Petra, experienced a devastating breakup that left her feeling heartbroken, unloveable and completely disempowered.
After weeks of crying and being at her all time low, she finally decided that she needed a shift: she turned to her girlfriends and the art of adornment to bring her out of this state. Though she felt so gray on the inside, she forced herself to put on bright colors, and her friend offered her a face chain to borrow. Then, something magical happened: for the first time in weeks, Petra felt her power come back to her.. When she looked in the mirror, she saw a part of herself that she had forgotten: she saw a warrior, a woman who can withstand anything. She reclaimed that part of herself and moved out of feeling like the victim, and back to the heroine of her journey.
Experiencing this profound shift, Petra decided to run an experiment: she wore the face chain for three days straight, putting it on first thing in the morning to start her day. Practicing this ritual aligned her to her inner strength and power; she began to embody the woman she desired to be.
Feeling the transformative power of this jewelry, it inspired her to make her own face chain.
To support Petra in her healing, her best friend Amy took her out for a magical Goddess Day where they pampered themselves with beauty treatments, then went to a local bead store to make their own face chains. They decided to do a ritual around releasing what they are ready to let go of and what they were calling in. After witnessing one another’s prayers, something massively shifted within them. That’s when they realized this medicine was needed in the world.
Through love, empowerment, and sisterhood, Ritual Adornments was born.
The name Ritual Adornments came from their recognition of the power of intentionally adorning ourselves to embody and manifest more of what we desire. What you wear tells a story- what story do you desire to tell?
Every Ritual Adornments piece is handcrafted with love and intention, incorporating crystals, sacred symbols, high-vibe talismans, and heartfelt intentions. Each piece carries a prayer within it, activated when worn by each unique individual. Much like how in Harry Potter, “the wand chooses the wizard,” the jewelry pieces come alive and activate something in its rightful owner.
Since their first pop-up booth in April 2021, Amy & Petra’s countless customers have shared magical stories of how their Ritual Adornments pieces have helped them embody their intentions, fulfill their manifestations, sparked serendipitous encounters, and given them more courage and strength.
